John and I recently purchased a small motor for our canoe to provide us with my options for going out into the water. We can now use it with motor or without, the motor and all it needs is complete removable from the canoe. We took it out the Iowa river (where is starts to become the 'lake' north of Iowa City) to test it out.





The motor is wonderful. John did a great job putting it all together as we just bought all the pieces and John made everything work together. What a handy husband!
We defiantly like this new addition to the canoe and hope to enjoy it many times the rest of the summer.

A trip down the mightie Iowa River

Today Zac, John, and I took a canoe trip from the south side of Iowa City to the Hills access. About was about 8 miles of river and took about 2 1/2 hours. Here are some fun shots I took on the trip (as that was my job :) )
