stuck between a rock and a hard place

We are working on getting all the nitty gritty details worked out for our loan in accordance to our purchase agreement. This is proving to be a rather tiring experience as we have been miss quoted on our interest rate and how things will work out from the bank we choose to work with and are having trouble getting a hold of our contact. Its rather frustrating and as john said tonight we just want to get thought this part so we can dream about landscaping and know everything is locked and set.

inspections

We have been working very hard now to get everything lined up bank stuff, pest inspection, house inspection, radon inspection. Its all moving so quickly. Crazy!?!?!

While we are doing all this we are dreaming of rooms colors and designs and first our dreaming list is our garden! :)

We have a purchase agreement

We in essence bought a house today! We started off yesterday afternoon meeting with our Realtor and drawing up a purchase agreement. Today we did 4 counter offer/offers with the sellers and at 3:30 this afternoon I called our Realtor to tell her we'd accepted the final offer. We meet our Realtor in the parking lot at our office to sign the agreement again with the new offer (john signing in the rain through her car window!) and it was done!!!
We went out tonight with John's parents to celebrate our work on house hunting. I am very nervous and excited. We have lots more to do and it is not a done deal yet...

Blog note: it seems like it is good to start new things (like blogs) when you do new things (like buy a house). We hope to use this blog to document our lives as we go forward and do all kinds of exciting things!
